Moisture meter

The purpose of this equipment is not a means of proving ‘dampness’, but simply used to measure the moisture content of material using electromagnetic waves.

Hygrometer

Put simply, a hygrometer measures the quantity of moisture vapour in the air. This is a vital piece of equipment when looking at issues such as condensation dampness within a dwelling.

Telescopic camera pole

This allows us to reach in excess of 12 meters above ground level to view areas otherwise inaccessible from ground level (as shown by the photograph).

Wide-angel action camera

Is attached to our camera-pole, has built in stabilisation technology which allows us to photograph and record data directly to our Ipad.

Bradawl

An efficient tool to inspect timber and other hardwood for deterioration, rot and decay.

Laser measurer

Allows us to accurately create a floorplan or calculate the GEA or GIA of a property.

Canon camera

Has a 30x optical zoom and takes photographs in HD, which allows us to take high-quality photographs from a distance.

Telescopic ladder

Our go-to piece of equipment which allows us to access spaces up to approximately 3 meters. This is normally used to access roof voids, inspect gutters and low-level roof coverings.

Spirit levels

An essential tool which is mainly used for identifying sloping floors or out of plumb walls.

Binoculars

Allows us to safely inspect areas otherwise not visible with the naked eye from ground level.

Ipad

We utilise the latest report writing software which is fully-integrated into our Ipad. This allows us to formulate our written site notes and photographs whilst on-site.

Thermal Imaging Camera

Our thermal imaging camera provides a unique opportunity to look at defects not visible with the naked eye. This is normally used when investigating issues such as damp and moisture management.

Aerial Drone

Our aerial drone captures high-resolution images of hard-to-reach areas like roofs and chimneys, helping identify defects and include clear visuals in your building report.
